The umbrella rig utilizes an umbrella-shaped frame with a primary head or attachment point from which several wires originate. A single-hook incorporated into Actiglo’s iridescent polymer swimbaits or another style lure is attached to the end of each wire with the resulting lure resembling a “school of baitfish”.
Actiglo will offer the attachable iridescent baits as well as a “leader teaser” which rotates around the primary head creating an illumination and noted vibration to the umbrella rig.
The Actiglo “leader teaser” will be available by the end of September 2012 and the iridescent polymer baits fish by or before the 1st quarter of 2013.
